What Is It?Non Destructive Testing is the inspection of a material, component, structure or assembly by means that do not harm it, or affect its ultimate serviceability.
Why Do It?To identify problems during the production process to avoid defective items being manufactured or put into service. To give early warning of in service defects or failures that could prove costly in terms of human life, pollution, loss of plant availability, or money.
